Prom & End of the Year Events

Prom was last night and I had two photo sessions in the space of one hour. It was a fun and amazing time. Every girl was so beautiful and it was fun to see them shine in their diva-ness ;)

Several end-of-the-year events are coming up and I am booked for the 8th grade graduation. However, I am not reserved for high school graduation and if you'd like to have me take before or after photos, please give me a call or message me. My cell is 708-1539. My fee is $50 and you'll receive a disc and one 8x10 photo of your choice.

Spring has been slow to bloom this year! Unusually slow! Normal time this year brings lots of flowers and plenty of green! The leaves are barely started to bud, let a long bloom! Im sure it has something to do with the weather, it's been usually cold at night and still frosting when there isn't a cloud cover. Hopefully, the weather will straighten itself out and we'll get some nice foliage to use soon.

New Business Card

Hey everyone! Check out my new business card. There were a number of reasons why I havent had any printed yet, one being I didn't have an "official" website! Now I do! YAY! Thank you Channon Jones for letting me use this precious photo of her son, Isaiah on my card. I plan on using a series for infant photos for each set of cards I purchase, but for now this will do.

Plus several weddings and graduation and birthdays. I'm so glad that spring is here (kind of) and that I can finally get going with many of the photo sessions that have been held up because of the weather. It's very frustrating!

Photo Shoot this weekend

Jayson, Dylan and I are spending the weekend at Mahogany Ridge. Hopefully making up for being sick Valentine's weekend :(
While we are there I am going to be taking family portraits of Glenn, Lindsay and Harper Christensen and hopefully some nature shots if the weather turns out ok. I can't wait to take Dylan up to the falls and show him! I think its going to be a great time and I can't wait :)

Drawing on Friday!

To celebrate my 100th facebook fan, I've decided to do a drawing tomorrow. The winner will receive a FREE photo session from ME!! YAY! How exciting. I'll put everyone's name in a hat (or something) and Dylan will draw the winning ticket tomorrow at the park. I'll take a pic so everyone can see.

There are several people excited about this and can't wait to see who wins. Im so excited! I'll have to think of more drawings for people to win sessions. It's been a huge hit so far!

This weekend....

YAY! I get to help with a wedding this weekend. Im really nervous but so excited at the same time. I'm not sure what to expect really but the photographer I am going with is going to let me take half the shots!!! I hope to get some good tips from her and that way when I do my first wedding in June, Im not going in with a blind eye.

I've got to remember to wear some comfortable shoes and bring a long a sack lunch, because I guess it's going to be an all day thing. That's only got me slightly intimidated but I think I can manage it. I wish I had all day to recover on Sunday, but I have TWO baby showers to go to on Sunday! I'm pretty excited about the baby showers though. I need to find gifts for both ladies.
